Other nearby professional sports offerings include Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Arizona Diamondbacks, the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) Phoenix Suns, and the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury.
In addition, in the spring of every year, nine major league baseball teams come to the Phoenix area for spring training. Nearby Scottsdale is also home to the FBR Open Golf Tournament.
